EKA DARVILLE can currently be seen on the critically acclaimed Marvel/Netflix series Jessica Jones. He plays the series regular role of Malcolm, a neighbor of the lead character, Jessica Jones, whose own journey intertwines with her quest in a surprising way. Eka previously starred in a recurring role on the hit FOX series Empire. He played Ryan Morgan, a sexy and cool documentary video director in charge of chronicling the lives of the hip-hop family. Eka was also seen on The CW’s Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals as Diego, the dynamic and dangerous wild child of the New Orleans vampire crew. Previous film credits include The Weinstein Company’s The Sapphires, the title role of Andrew Adamson’s Mr. Rip opposite Hugh Laurie and the Fox/Walden film Nim’s Island with Jodie Foster, Gerard Butler and Abigail Breslin. Additional television credits include Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks/FOX series Terra Nova, The CW’s pilot Blink for director Peter Hedges, J.J. Abrams’ CW pilot Shelter, and the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
